One woman’s guide to advocating for yourself

Can we talk honestly about advocating for ourselves? I know, I know—it's not always easy. But it's so important for our well-being.

So many women say to me “I don’t want to seem like a downer to other people, so I keep a lot of my true feelings inside”.

Look, I'll be the first to admit I've struggled with this over the years. Raising my hand, speaking my truth, asking for what I needed - it didn't come naturally to me. But you know what? I've been working on it, and I finally feel I'm getting better at standing up for myself.

Sure, that little voice in my head whispers, "If you speak up, people might not like you. They might think you're difficult or demanding." But you know what I've realized? That voice is fear talking.

When I advocate for myself, I feel happier, more satisfied, and more aligned with my authentic self. And that's worth way more than being "popular" or "likable."

So here's what I want to say to you: Your needs matter. Your voice matters. YOU matter. And when you start advocating for yourself, you give others permission to do the same. It's a ripple effect of empowerment.

Now, I'm not saying it's easy. It takes practice, and there might be some discomfort along the way. But I promise you, it's so worth it.

Start small. Practice saying no to things that don't serve you. Communicate your needs clearly and kindly. Celebrate every time you speak up for yourself, no matter how big or small.

And remember, you're not alone in this journey. I'm right here with you, cheering you on every step of the way. Together, we can become our best advocates and create the lives we truly desire.

I believe in you.

Needles in your face? benefits of facial acupuncture

This is one of my absolute favorite topics - facial acupuncture.

Have you heard about this ancient Chinese secret for radiant, glowing skin? It's like giving your face a luxurious spa day, but with the added benefits of balancing your energy and promoting overall wellness.

I've been practicing facial acupuncture for years, and I've seen firsthand how it can transform skin from dull and tired to plump, smooth, and positively luminous. It's all about stimulating collagen production, boosting circulation, and allowing your inner beauty to shine through.

In my latest blog post, I explore the wonders of facial acupuncture—from its rich history to the science behind how it works its magic on your skin. I also share some insider tips on what to expect during a session and how to maintain that post-treatment glow.

What foods really fight inflammation 💪

I’m very interested in ways to fight inflammation. Chronic inflammation is linked to many major diseases, from cancer to diabetes.

Fortunately, one of the most powerful tools to combat harmful inflammation comes from the food we eat - an anti-inflammatory diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats, and spices can help reduce disease risk and improve overall health.

Free Resource: Gratitude Journals

My latest free resource was inspired by comments I received on Instagram.

I often reference journaling to provide a safe space to process thoughts and emotions, gain self-awareness, and work through challenges.

By putting pen to paper regularly, you can gain valuable insights, find creative solutions, set and achieve goals, and build resilience to navigate life's ups and downs.

P.S this is a Google file, so make a copy to use it.

I’m cheering for you. Have a wonderful week!
